In Brief:

My involvement for this project included:

  • The coordination of our elevations (ground and podium levels only, levels 1 through 5) with external collaborating architects for the two towers

  • Developing elevation design options (Revit) based on external architects design, on-going meetings with client, based on floor plan layouts and overall proportions with above levels.

  • Updating and annotating previous SPA package with latest city comments in preparation for subsequent SPA submission.

  • Modelling a proposed residential canopy in Revit based on interior design renders and specifications, and demonstrating the issue with the design as it extended beyond the property line.

Residential Canopy

The design of the arched-glass residential canopy was provided through renders and a sectional detail of the assembly by the interior designer, which I modelled and placed as a design option. The issue with the proposal as-is was that it extended beyond the property line. An alternative truncated canopy, ending at the property line, illustrating the unfeasibility of the proposal, was provided (last image).

Coordination review

Below are select annotated drawings identifying discrepancies between HPA drawings and external coordinating architectural drawings (later digitized in Adobe Acrobat).

Elevation Development (sPA)

The following are elevations that were developed/updated as noted above. Differences, for levels 1 through 5 (podium level), from coordination review drawings above, are those that I was involved with.
